Last week I was asked to present my thoughts on how business start up has changed. 

1. Old school

• Business and marketing plan based on extensive research
• Pre-established processes, controls and procedures
• High start up capital

2. New school

• Not can it be built, should it be built.
• Fail fast, fail cheap
• Validate business early

I’m all about new school.
